Paul Bingham, Vice President, Economic Development Research Grou

With potential changes in trade policies and varying conditions among U.S. trade partner countries, Paul Bingham will provide an updated outlook for the world and U.S. economy, and how that outlook is forecast to affect maritime trade. He’ll discuss West Coast container trade prospects with the expanded Panama Canal in operation for over a year now, and the further consolidation of container shipping lines. He’ll discuss freight transportation factors affecting Southern California container trade, especially for the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach near the end of the 2017 peak season.

Paul Bingham is leader of EDR’s trade economics practice. He brings 30 years of experience in trade and freight planning, analysis and scenario forecasting.

Registration is at 11:30 a.m.
