Our very own president, Gary L. Gregory was honored on May 12 during
the 2011 Maritime Leadership Symposium in Sacramento. The symposium planning committee created an award named in honor of Gary, former division chief for the Marine Facilities Division of the California State
Lands Commission.
Gary has been involved in the California maritime community for more
than 30 years, dedicating himself to collaborative leadership in all arenas of discussion. He epitomizes the very best in the maritime industry. It
was fitting that he be the first honoree so named and as such, the award will bear his name in perpetuity.
Gary is in his second term as president of the Propeller Club of Los Angeles-Long Beach. Congratulations Gary, an honor well deserved!

Interactive Exhibits - The Port of Los Angeles allowed attendees
to experience port activities via the TransPORTer. A “crowd favorite”
returned
to Sacramento? Provided by the Port of Los Angeles, the TransPORTer allowed attendees to try out a number of interactive
